Probably one of the most known and loved of the green tea varieties, arising from the Anhui Province of Eastern China. The leaves are folded lengthways during the drying process leaving it with distinctive long grass like leaves, a refreshingly light and brisk flavour with subtle grassy and vegetal notes.
Ingredients: Chinese Sencha Green Tea
Preparation: Steep 1tsp per cup for 2-3 minutes in 75-80°C water.
