Also called Pinhead and grown in the Anhui province in Eastern China. The leaves are steamed and rolled into tight pinhead sized balls that resemble gunpowder. As this is such a strong flavoured green tea, it can be re-infused and still retain a bold flavour.
Fun Fact - Morocco is the largest importer of Gunpowder green tea as it is used extensively in their Moroccan mint teas.
Ingredients: Chinese Green Tea
Preparation: Steep 1tsp per cup for 2-3 minutes in 75-80°C water.
