Dragonwell
Also known as Longjing, produced in the Zhejiang Province of Eastern China.
Dry pan-roasted by hand immediately after picking to stop the natural oxidation process, these leaves exhibit the classic flattened spear-like shape. With a complex cup, the liquor is typically bright yellow-green with a beautifully sweet, nutty and almost fruity character. A perfect everyday brew.
There are various definitions of Longjing; however a common definition is that authentic Longjing has to come from the Zhejiang province in China, with the most precise definition restricting provenance to the West Lake area in Hangzhou only.
