Hibiscus
Also known as Roselle, this dark magenta flower has a vast history including being a symbol of beauty, femininity and young love and being the flower of the Hindu goddess Kali.
The tea can be enjoyed both hot and cold, a sharp cranberry-like flavour with a subtle floral note, it is often sweetened before consumption.
It pairs well with Raspberry leaf, Rosehips and Lemon Balm. It can be found in our Pink Grapefruit, Rhubarb & Custard Rooibos and Mulled Cider blends.
Ingredients: Hibiscus Flowers
Preparation: Steep 1tsp per cup for 5+ minutes in 100°C water.
This is naturally caffeine free so can be enjoyed at any time of day.
Lovely loose leaf tea bought for making kombucha. Great packaging, stores well. Kombucha brewed great! First time brewing hibiscus but definitely my new favourite. The tea colour is vibrant and tastes fresh. Would highly recommend.
