Breakfast Blend

I was given some of this tea as a Christmas present and couldn’t be more grateful to have been introduced to it. I had three tea in my gift and are all fabulous but I will focus this review around what I drink most.

I had previous advocated for a a Sainsburys TTD English breakfast tea (I had tried many as this game out as the best) so was stunned when my Chai Wallah English Breakfast wiped the floor with it.

Apart from sharing how fabulous I think it is I also wanted to share something I have realised. At first gram for gram the tea from here seemed more expensive. I did the Maths and worked out that if I bought a kg at a time it was an equivalent cost (rather than buying many smaller bags - totally fair enough) so at that point (considering the difference in quality) it seemed liked a no brainier BUT I was concerned that it might take me an age to get through 1kg so ordered 500g. The extra cost was worth it. What I hadn’t realised at this point was how much less of this tea I would need per cup (I already used an infuser). The TTD tea needed a good 3 teaspoons. The chai wallah only needs two! The extra cost suddenly wiped out.

I now have a subscription and I think that says it all.
